Worlds 2023: Champion Power Spikes Ahead of the Global Tournament

Hey Summoners! Get ready for Worlds because Riot just dropped a patch (25.19) that’s shaking things up! Several champions, including Draven, Jinx, and Caitlyn, are getting some serious love, with buffs to their abilities and stats. Even some items are getting tweaked, like Redemption which is taking a slight hit so other support items can shine.

For the bot lane, Draven’s Blood Rush is getting more attack speed, and his ultimate packs a bigger punch. Jinx, a fan favorite often missing from pro play, is back with a vengeance! Her Q now has extended range early game, and her E dishes out more damage. Even Caitlyn gets a small boost with increased base AD, hoping to see her at Worlds!

Mid lane isn’t left out! Ahri’s Spirit Rush is getting an upgrade, making her riskier plays more rewarding. Brand, the fiery mage, receives significant buffs to his passive, W, and ultimate, boosting his AP ratios. Diana gets a jungle buff with an increased monster modifier on her passive, speeding up her clears. LeBlanc is also enhanced for better wave control and burst, especially in side lanes. And for those who love AP junglers, Lillia’s ultimate is getting buffed with more AP and reduced cooldown.

Item-wise, Redemption’s healing is nerfed, opening the door for Locket of the Iron Solari and Knight’s Vow to see more action. Will these changes drastically alter the Worlds meta? Only time will tell, but it’s exciting to see how these adjustments play out at the highest level of League of Legends!
